Founded on 12-04-2007, it is a scientific community in the field of optics and vision sciences. The Saudi Association of Optometry operates under the umbrella of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (Decision No. 8/A/28). Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, may Allah protect them.
The association has a vision to enhance the provision of quality eye and vision care to the community through the practice of optometry and by providing education and. continuous training services for those working in the field of eye care.
